Stackable Certificates: Efficient!

Complete your business education in smaller chunks by earning and stacking certificates. Start with Business Fundamentals, a one-semester certificate. Add another semester and you earn the Business & Management Certificate.

Add more certificates as needed for your career goals. Any overlapping requirements from an earlier certificate are already on your record. That’s how you stack efficiently!

Guaranteed CSU Admission Options

Earn your associate in arts for transfer (AA-T) or associate in science for transfer (AS-T) degree at GWC to earn guaranteed admission to a California State University (CSU or Cal State). You gain:

Junior standing in the CSU system
Priority consideration at local CSU campuses
Priority consideration for majors that match your GWC program

Be aware that your admission may be to a Cal State campus outside of SoCal. Read all the details about guaranteed transfer programs.

Business pathways at GWC include two guaranteed transfer options:

Business Administration 2.0 (AS-T)
Economics (AA-T)

Most of our associate's degrees in business are designed to transfer (especially the Liberal Arts degree with emphasis in Business and Public Administration). The AS-T and AA-T are the only ones with the CSU guarantee.
