Earn your associate in science for transfer (AA-T) degree at GWC to earn guaranteed admission to a California State University (CSU or Cal State). You gain:
Be aware that your admission may be to a Cal State campus outside of SoCal. Read all the details about guaranteed transfer programs.
Choose the AS in Computer Science or the AA in Software Development if you think you might be headed to a UC or private university, or directly into a tech career.
Many careers in technology require a bachelor's degree or higher to advance into management or to the more innovative projects. However, you may be able to start your career now and earn your bachelor's later. Some people also switch to tech later and already have a bachelor's in another field.
Your GWC certificate covers core tech skills that are in demand, including:
Take the five courses full-time and be done in two semesters. You can also go at a slower pace, one or two courses per semester, and earn your certificate in two years.
Earn priority registration by applying early, attending orientation, and developing your academic plan.
